Pay Your Gratitude

Hunger is a widespread problem in many parts of the world. Prolonged Starvation leads to consequences that affect an individual’s physical, mental and emotional health. Did you know that around 3 lakh children in India alone die every year due to starvation? Ironically, at the same time, on an average Indian household wastes 50 kilograms of food per person per year or roughly 68,760,163 tonnes a year.

Many underprivileged people struggle to have access to sufficient or nutritious food. To alleviate hunger and malnutrition, addressing food insecurity and raising awareness can help. Distributing food is an effective way to fight this problem. It can also help empower factions by promoting self-sufficiency and resilience. It can help build stronger, more self-sustaining communities that can better withstand economic and environmental challenges.

GreenHonchos believes in using its resources and influence to make a positive impact on society by all means possible. Through our GH Cares initiatives we recently organised a food distribution drive for the underprivileged community in the Delhi NCR region in partnership with Manav Mandir Mission Trust and volunteers to gather and distribute one-time-meals to around 300 families in need. Our team of volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure that the distribution process was smooth and efficient. We also took the time to sit down with the families, listen to their stories, and understand their needs. We were humbled by the gratitude and appreciation expressed by them. It was a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference in the lives of others. We remain committed to supporting the people in need in our community and will continue to explore ways to make a positive impact on their lives. At GreenHonchos, we believe that everyone deserves access to basic necessities such as food, and we will continue to work towards making this a reality.
